Job summary

Ownership Is The Future is seeking part-time volunteers to run an after-school program for Harlem and the Bronx students. You’ll help high schoolers explore ownership and entrepreneurship, develop real ideas, and practice pitching and selling in two afternoon sessions each week.

Ideal contributors bring entrepreneurial, professional, and life experience, and are ready to mentor with empathy, consistency, and practical guidance to help youth move ideas into action.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in entrepreneurship and youth development.
• Ability to connect with high school students and build trust.
• Comfort sharing experiences and asking thoughtful questions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate entrepreneurship and ownership experiences with high school students.
• Help students develop ideas, identify customers, and prepare pitches.
• Build relationships and create an encouraging space for growth.
• Bring your entrepreneurial and professional experiences into the room.
• Collaborate with the OITF team to move ideas toward action.
