Job summary

The Eugene Family YMCA is seeking a Youth Development Program Leader 1 to join our team in Eugene, OR. The role focuses on childcare, homework support, enrichment activities and teaching teamwork and social skills within our youth development programs.

You will work part-time, following program schedules and YMCA guidelines, building positive relationships with children and families while promoting core YMCA values of honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Enrolled in the Office of Childcare Central Background Registry.
• Complete online application promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare, homework support, enrichment and physical activities.
• Teach teamwork and social skills; support children as they grow and learn.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families.
• Follow YMCA policies and ensure high standards of excellence.
