Job summary

YMCA of Greater San Francisco is hiring an Enrichment Instructor to design and lead Academic, STEAM, and/or Sports activities at the program site. The role ensures programming aligns with YMCA curriculum and Youth Development Principles while fostering student engagement and a positive environment.

The Instructor collaborates with Site Coordinator and staff to deliver high-quality programming, procure materials, and support day-to-day logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and leading engaging activities in Academic/STEAM and/or Sports.
• Ability to align activities with YMCA curriculum guidelines and Youth Development Principles.
• Capable of fostering a positive environment and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with instructors to prepare students for showcases.
• Deliver engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with YMCA curriculum and Youth Development Principles.
• Maintain a safe learning environment and manage student behavior.
• Support logistics, procure materials, and coordinate with the Site Coordinator.
