Job summary

The YMCA is seeking Youth Enrichment Instructors to support on-site elementary school programs in Chicago. You will help create child-centered environments that promote learning, character development, positive relationships, and healthy living, while keeping participants safe.

This role offers growth through ongoing training, a consistent weekday schedule (PM shifts), competitive pay of $18.50–$19.00 per hour, health benefits, PTO, wellness resources and more, plus free family gym membership

Qualifications

• 17+ years old with relevant experience or coursework in childcare, education, or recreation.
• Strong communicator, enthusiastic leader, and passionate about youth development and equity.
• Meet responsibilities and qualifications required as outlined in job description.
