Job summary

Michigan State University seeks a collaborative Youth Engagement Specialist to support the HERA Coordinating Center, advancing health equity through youth-focused engagement. The role works to increase participation among young adults 18-24, recruit diverse reviewers, and coordinate training, communications, reviews, and compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth engagement or youth-serving organizations is preferred.
• Experience coordinating reviewers or advisory groups is a plus.
• Ability to train and coordinate volunteers and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reviewer training, communications, review activities, and compensation.
• Support onboarding and participation of National Advisory Committee members.
• Liaise with youth-focused organizations to increase participation.
• Maintain documentation and calendars across multiple activities.
• Draft infographics or content for outreach materials.
