Job Title: Youth Director - Cooperation with Glenview Alliance Church and Mason-Dixon Youth For Christ

Church: Glenview Alliance Church

Compensation: Full-time or Part-time, Competitive and commensurate with experience

Position Overview: This person must have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This person is primarily responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the IGNITE Student Ministry (Grades 6-12) in partnership with the Director of Next Gen and Director of Outreach.

The ideal candidate should have experience in youth ministry or a related field. Also, they will be committed to the mission of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA).

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Work with pastors and church-wide volunteers to carry out the mission/vision of the church.
  • Evangelism/Outreach: Develop strategy to reach unchurched youth in the community. Equip our youth to be evangelists.
  • Networking: Build relationships and partnerships with other ministries and organizations in York county.
  • Mentorship: Lead and develop a team of volunteers to holistically mentor youth.
  • Spiritual Leadership: Teach 6-12 times a year; support volunteer teachers.
  • Program Development: Implement GAC’s mission/vision within the context of Ignite Student Ministries.
  • Volunteer Development: Recruit and Equip volunteers to do the work of the ministry.
  • Parental Engagement: Partner with parents and guardians to support the spiritual growth of their children.
  • Personal Leadership Development: Participate in the broader church community for your continued personal growth (York County churches and Eastern PA District).

Hours:

  • Part-Time: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed. OR Full-time in Co-Op with Youth For Christ (Mason Dixon YFC)
