Genesis Health Clubs in Albuquerque is seeking a Youth Director to lead Kids Club and Mighty Camp programs with energy and a coaching mindset. You will build a welcoming, safe environment for children and families while guiding a team.

This role emphasizes leadership, operations, scheduling, and program development, with opportunities for growth within a fast-growing club that values health and fitness. You’ll ensure safety, manage waivers, and stay compliant across activities.

Qualifications

• 18+ with high school diploma (or equivalent).
• 1+ year of post-high school experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and BPT certifications (infant, child, adult).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule.
• Ability to stay active throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

Status: Hourly (30+ hours/week) | Benefits Eligible

What You’ll Do

Kids Club Leadership

• Lead with Purpose, Values, and Tools to inspire your team daily
• Create a fun, high-energy, welcoming environment for kids and families
• Own the Kids Club experience and resolve member concerns with care
• Train, coach, and develop staff on operations, engagement, and expectations
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and schedule team members to maintain coverage
• Execute and grow programs like Kids Fit, Camps, Parents' Night Out, and events
• Monitor reports, check-ins, and usage to drive engagement
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, organization, and brand standards
• Maintain compliance with waivers, child info, and allergy alerts
• Work a mix of opening, evening, and weekend shifts

Mighty Camp Leadership

• Partner with leadership to improve camp experience, enrollment, and operations
• Execute Mighty Camp frameworks to drive financial success and satisfaction
• Ensure safety, engagement, and on-brand programming
• Support staff training and ongoing development
• Track performance to deliver an A+ camp experience
• Maintain organization, staffing, and licensing compliance
