Job summary

BGCAZ in Phoenix seeks a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise programs and activities for youth and teens.

You will facilitate club activities, manage calendars and records, transport participants, uphold safety, and assist with the federal food program and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within first 90 days.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc).
• Manages administrative duties including calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking.
• Transports youth and teens to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles.
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed.

JOBSUMMARY

The Youth Development Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating and supervising programs and activities for youth and/or teens.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION

• Mustpossessa high school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Must obtain/maintaina current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification (within first90 daysof employment)
• Musthaveandmaintaina valid Arizona driver’s license
