Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor is seeking a part-time Youth Program Assistant for the Blue Ridge site to support summer youth programming focused on literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and workforce readiness.

You will engage elementary-age members through planned activities, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and collaborate with staff, volunteers, and families. CPR certification is preferred; experience with youth is advantageous; 2pm-6pm schedule applies.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience working with youth is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and implementation of Club curriculum and activities.
• Maintain presence on site during all hours of operation.
• Foster positive relations with parents and families.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings and planning sessions.
• Assist with reporting and administrative tasks relative to youth development.
