Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire is seeking a K-5 Youth Development Specialist to support elementary students in Sioux Falls, Harrisburg, and Brandon. The role focuses on engaging educational, recreational, and STEAM activities in a safe, inclusive after-school setting, with mentoring and collaboration within a team.

• Engage and Inspire: Support educational, recreational, and STEAM-based activities for elementary-aged kids that keep them motivated and excited to learn and explore.
• Collaborate and Mentor: Work with a dynamic team to build a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports students’ personal and academic growth.
• Ensure Safety and Connection: Respond to student needs, maintain safety, and track progress. Build strong relationships with parents and foster connections with local schools to support a thriving community.
