Job summary

BGCO is seeking a Social Recreation Director to plan, lead, and assess clubhouse social and recreational programs, ensuring safe, inclusive, and engaging experiences for youth. You will supervise staff and volunteers while managing equipment and budgets, aligning activities with organizational goals and community needs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to youth development. Regular clubhouse presence with some evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Background check and fingerprint verification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate social recreation programs aligned with BGCO's Youth Development Outcomes.
• Set objectives aligned with BGCO's mission and goals.
• Oversee daily activities, ensure participation, and provide feedback to develop members' skills.
• Maintain safety and positive development of members through strong leadership.
• Regularly evaluate programs for responsiveness to member needs and diversity.
