Job summary

The Salvation Army in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time Youth Development Professional to support the Red Shield Youth Center on Milton Road. You will help plan, lead and monitor youth activities, assist with member registration, and contribute to a safe, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• AND previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Youth for Success: Creates an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes and promotes program participation.
• Assists in Program Development and Implementation: Implements and administers programs, monitors safety, and prepares activity reports.
• Facility & Equipment Management: Maintains facility/equipment, keeps storage areas orderly, and reports repairs to supervisor.
