Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland seeks a passionate Youth Development Professional to inspire and empower children and youth through engaging educational and recreational activities.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment to help them develop life skills, confidence, teamwork, and healthy growth across classrooms, camps, daycare centers, and community programs.

Competenze

• Prior experience working with children or youth in educational, childcare, camp, or recreational settings.
• Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or childhood development are a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to adapt activities for diverse learning needs including those requiring accommodations for special education.
• Enthusiasm for working with children of all ages in dynamic environments such as daycare centers or summer camps.
• Experience in coaching sports or leading theater productions is desirable but not required.
