Job summary

Waypoint Academy in Dripping Springs, Texas, is seeking a Youth Development Director to lead guides and nurture a data-driven, outdoors-based program. You’ll coach, review performance, and run outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students while guiding a cohort through real challenges.

This full-time W2 position includes day-one benefits, relocation support, and a $150,000 annual salary, paid weekly. You’ll mentor Guides from day one and shape a program that blends academics with character

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in education, youth development, coaching, or outdoor education.
• Experience leading teams of 5+ adults and hiring decisions.
• Proven use of data/metrics to drive goals.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides: review performance, observe, and close gaps with actions.
• Lead one-hour outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students.
• Run motivation sessions using analytics to drive student progress.
• Carry your own cohort while developing other Guides.
• Track satisfaction and goals weekly to catch underperformance early.
