Waypoint Academy in Dripping Springs, Texas, seeks an instructional coach for a full-time, in-person role with immediate benefits. The position offers a $150,000 USD annual salary, paid weekly as a W2 employee, and day-one health coverage. Relocation support is available to qualified candidates.

You will lead Guides, run outdoor life-skill workshops, and use student analytics to drive progress. This role emphasizes authentic coaching over traditional classroom teaching.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years in education, youth development, coaching, outdoor education, or learning & development.
• Experience leading a team of 5+ adults, including hiring and performance-based decisions.
• Direct experience working with youth ages 5-18 in educational or developmental settings.
• Built or significantly grew a program, team, school, or outdoor initiative with measurable impact.

Responsabilités

• Coach the Guides who work alongside you: review performance data, observe them with students, and end sessions with concrete actions.
• Lead one-hour outdoor life-skill workshops for K-12 students.
• Run motivation sessions using analytics and Coachbot data to drive progress.
• Carry your own student cohort while developing other Guides.
• Track student satisfaction, goal completion, and Guide performance weekly.
