Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is seeking a Part-Time Youth Development Associate at Ellen Myers Primary School. You will plan activities, lead hands-on sessions, and foster curiosity, learning, and connection among youth.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience with youth preferred.
• Must pass local, state, and national background checks and drug screening.
• CPR certification offered post-hire by the organization.

Responsibilities

• Post weekly plans for parents/guardians and youth.
• Encourage full participation in activities.
• Identify alternative activities that match weekly lesson plans.
• Supervise and monitor program areas to ensure safety.
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate with Club team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization per standards.
• Provide meals to youth per USDA standards.
• Deliver mild disciplinary action when needed.
• Supervise youth on school buses.
• Attend programs, field trips, and events.
• Create bulletin boards for youth.
• Orient volunteers to the Club and opportunities.
• Oversee volunteers serving within the Club.
