Job summary

Aspiranet in Merced, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join the Crisis Stabilization Unit team. The role focuses on compassionate care, medication administration, and coordination of medical needs for youth in crisis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Medical Assistant program.
• Current LVN or Psychiatric Technician certification.
• Minimum of one year nursing/medical assistant experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with youth with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth at the CSU.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Coordinate medical, dental, and other needs with providers.
• Deliver health screening, education, and counseling on wellness and mental health.
• Document interventions, issues, progress, and observations.
