Job summary

Montana Conservation Corps (MCC) in Montana seeks a Youth Crew Leader to guide 4–6 youth participants aged 14–18, supervise crew dynamics, and deliver MCC program components. Crews camp for most of the term, work on trails, invasive species control, and other conservation projects in remote locations and varied terrain.

As an AmeriCorps member you are entitled to the program’s benefits, including a living allowance, stipend, and an education award upon completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 21–35 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4–6 youth participants ages 14–18 and manage crew dynamics to maintain motivation and function.
• Complete natural resource and community service projects, including trail work, invasive species treatment, and other conservation tasks.
• Deliver MCC program components and ensure safety and compliance in remote field locations.
