Job summary

Management & Training Corporation in Edison, NJ seeks a qualified counselor to develop and implement a professional counseling program for assigned students, aligning with government and company directives.

You will conduct interviews, maintain student folders, provide individual and group counseling, and coordinate with the mental health team. A Bachelor’s degree, 1 year of counseling experience, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree including 15 semester hours in social services related instruction and one (1) year experience in counseling or related field required.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, develop and implement a counseling program for assigned students in compliance with directives.
• Review background files, conduct interviews and assessments to tailor a program for each student.
• Provide individual and group counseling and maintain documentation in CIS and other systems.
