Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus seeks an Academic Program Management Officer III to lead program strategy, operations, and student engagement within the SCYC umbrella. The role emphasizes advancing climate youth initiatives, coordinating with UCLA/CDLS, and supervising student workers to deliver impactful community programs.

Partner with diverse stakeholders, develop and evaluate programs, and ensure compliance with background and policy

Qualifications

• Non-profit leadership experience required (15+ yrs).
• Community organizing in SE Los Angeles required (15+ yrs).
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills (Required).
• Skilled storyteller across multiple media formats (Required).
• Understanding of developing, implementing, and assessing organizational strategy (Required).
• Ability to lead diverse teams, mentor staff, and foster collaboration (Required).
• Strong project management with multiple stakeholders (Required).
• Ability to build trust and partnerships with funders and youth (Required).
• Deep commitment to youth leadership and empowering youth in decision-making (Required).
• Demonstrated organization and project management skills (Required).
• Demonstrated planning skills for broad, diverse projects (Required).
• Supervisory experience recruiting, training, and supervising student workers (Required).
