Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Cheer Instructor to lead youth athletes and provide expert instruction in cheerleading. The role is a part-time contractor position with weekend shifts, offering flexible scheduling and session-based compensation.

You will work at rotating seasonal venues within the North Inland Empire, requiring reliable transportation and clear communication with players and parents while upholding i9 Sports standards and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years of cheerleading or dance experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Access to a phone with internet capability.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and colleagues.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge in cheerleading.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings, for the full duration of the season (approximately 7 weeks).
• Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging practice sessions focused on fundamental skills, skill development, and enjoyment.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to instill positive values in athletes.
• Utilize established platforms to effectively communicate game day information to players and parents.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and deliver exceptional customer service.
