Job summary

Sacramento Children's Home in Sacramento, CA seeks a Therapeutic Behavioral Services Specialist to assess and develop behavioral intervention plans for youth in the program.

You will provide one-on-one intensive services, coordinate with the primary mental health provider, educate caregivers, document progress, and ensure EPSDT compliance using Avatar. Four years of direct care in mental health are required, with a valid driver's license and ability to work with diverse families.

Qualifications

• Four years of direct care experience in a mental health field.
• Education substitution allowed for two years of experience.
• Knowledge of applied behavioral analysis and EPSDT documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment and implement behavioral intervention plans.
• Complete functional analyses and collaborate with caregivers.
• Coordinate with referring providers and monitor progress.
• Provide caregiver psychoeducation and parenting education.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress notes and EPSDT paperwork.
• Utilize Avatar for EPSDT documentation and reauthorization.
