Job summary

Career Systems Development Corporation (San Jose Job Corps) is seeking a Security Supervisor on swing shift to oversee the Safety and Security Department and protect students, staff, and property. You will enforce laws, policies, and zero-tolerance rules while coordinating with center leadership.

You must hold a California Guard Card, a valid driver's license, and CPR/FA certification, with opportunities to advance within a government-supported program focused on youth development.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; two years work-related experience.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or closely related field; safety certifications and law enforcement experience.
• CPR/FA certificates required and ability to obtain state security officer certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Enforce laws, rules and Center policies; supervise daily operations of Safety and Security.
• Patrol assigned areas; monitor for disturbances, safety hazards and unauthorized persons.
• Assist students, staff and visitors; prepare accident and incident reports; maintain confidentiality as required.
