Job summary

Management & Training Corporation in Reno, NV is seeking a Security Officer to patrol Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center grounds and manage the front desk for guest sign-in and badge distribution. You will monitor ID badge use and help ensure safety for staff, students and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of security experience or security training, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year's security experience or completion of a security training program preferred.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Patrol center grounds and monitor safety of staff, students, and visitors.
• Manage front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badge distribution.
• Ensure staff and students wear ID badges at all times.
• Conduct control, surveillance, identification, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of center property and people.
