Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Security Officer to patrol the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV. You will manage front desk sign-ins, issue temporary badges, and monitor ID compliance for staff and students, ensuring the safety of all on site.

Essential duties include surveillance, incident reporting, and cooperation with supervisors. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, one year security experience or completion of a security program, and a valid

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of security experience or completion of a security training program preferred.
• Experience with youth; excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Patrol center grounds and monitor safety.
• Manage front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badge distribution.
• Monitor that staff and students wear ID badges and ensure safety of staff, students, and visitors.
• Control, surveillance, identification, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of center matters.
