Job summary

Forward Family Care, LLC is seeking an In-Home Youth Care Worker to support youth with diverse needs in Jefferson County area. The role emphasizes compassionate direct care, behavioral health support, and promoting social development in home and community settings.

You will work part-time with a flexible schedule, including after-school and weekend hours, and may serve multiple clients to reach desired weekly hours. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Youth Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting young individuals, particularly those with special needs, by fostering their development and well-being. This position requires a commitment to providing direct support and care, while also promoting positive social interactions and personal growth.

This position is located in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. Flexible workload. You have the opportunity to take on multiple clients to get to your desired weekly hours. Choose clients from Jefferson, Lake Mills, and surrounding areas. The provider to potentially work both at the children's home and may do some community-based activities.

Duties

• Provide direct support to youth in various settings, including home and community.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each youth, focusing on behavioral health and social skills development.
• Engage in data collection to monitor progress and inform adjustments to care strategies.
• Facilitate communication between youth and their families, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in the care process.
• Support youth with autism by employing specialized techniques that promote engagement and understanding.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and educators, to create a supportive network for each youth.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to caregiving and special education.

Qualifications

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly pay based on experience and care level needs: $16.50-$19 per hour
