Position Summary

Provides case management assistance through intakes, transportation and provides support in day-to-day functions of the safety wellbeing of the children. Assess relatives and/or sponsors at place of release to ensure their identification. Average travel could range between 5-10 travel events a month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in safety and service-related resources development prior to child's discharge.
  • Provide transportation support to assigned case management team.
  • Escort children, verify identification of approved sponsor and release custody of children to approved sponsor.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of reunification of children.
  • Attending scheduled training related to positions.
  • Provide day-to-day coverage within agency service facility.
  • Adhere to Child Abuse and reporting requirements.
  • Must be relied upon regarding task completion and meeting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy, work quality, or customer service satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Mathematical Ability

Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
