Gulf Coast Trades Center (GCTC) is a private, non-profit educational institution dedicated to improving the economic independence and social well-being of disadvantaged and adjudicated youth. GCTC provides male youth ages 15-18 with a comprehensive program of education, counseling, job referrals, residential and community services. This matrix of services is provided by our dedicated staff in a “no fail” atmosphere, which emphasized the worth of each individual.
Salary: $16.00 Hourly

What you will do:
As a Coach Counselor, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program (shift hours are 3:45 pm to 12:00 am), and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
