Job summary

Youth Opportunity is seeking a Youth Care Specialist at Lebanon Youth Academy in Lebanon, TN. You will supervise 7–10 youths through daily activities, ensure safety, and model positive behaviors to support treatment progress.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college coursework or experience with youth.
• CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Assist with schoolwork, activities, and treatment goals

About Youth Opportunity & Lebanon Youth Academy

Youth Opportunity is a nationally recognized leader in residential and behavioral health treatment for at‑risk youth. Lebanon Youth Academy in Lebanon, Tennessee offers an 18‑bed trauma‑informed Youth Academy for boys ages12 to17. Serving youth needing structured treatment and emotional support, the center combines individual, family, and group therapy with academic programming, restorative justice, life skills training, and social skill development.Youth typically remain for 3 to6months, engaging in victim‑impact awareness, pre‑vocational preparation, and family involvement. Programming is conducted in small group living units to support reintegration into home and community settings.

About the Role

As a Youth Care Specialist, you will supervise and support 7–10 youth through daily activities while helping them develop the internal skills they need to succeed. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring safety, modeling positive behaviors, and contributing to each youth’s treatment progress.
