Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Social or Behavioral Sciences is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to escort groups of youth to and from activities and supervise conduct during movement.
• Observe behaviors and determine when intervention is needed to guide youth.
• Intervene to de-escalate potentially harmful situations and promote positive alternatives.
• Encourage communication, mentor youth, and model appropriate behavior.
• Monitor daily/weekly schedules, assist with school work, and track progress.
