Everstand is seeking a Youth Care Professional to provide 24/7 supervision in a trauma-informed setting and support youth toward safety and growth. At Everstand, Youth Care Professionals (YCPs) play an important role in helping youth feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal and thrive. YCPs provide direct care and supervision in a trauma-informed residential treatment setting while building positive, professional relationships with youth. You’ll work alongside clinical, education, and medical professionals to support each young person’s safety, development, and treatment goals. Level I – Youth Care Professional
High School Diploma, GED, or AA required with a minimum of 1 year of employment experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents, or a similar setting.
Level II – Youth Care Professional (Advanced)
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related human services field.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position, typically 33–40 hours per week, with schedules based on program needs. Employees must be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather as needed. The role involves working with youth who may display challenging behaviors, emotional outbursts, or physical agitation. Employees must be able to safely perform trained physical interventions when necessary and occasionally lift or transport up to 25 pounds. The position requires the ability to move, stand or remain stationary, communicate, observe, assess situations, and perform other physical activities necessary to support youth safely. This position is considered essential during emergencies and inclement weather.
Local travel for appointments or cross-site coverage may be required. Mileage reimbursement or an agency vehicle is provided for approved travel.
