Responsibilities

• Care for patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them throughout the shift.
• Conduct observation rounds and document patient behavior.
• Model and teach life skills to patients; orient them to the unit and assist with daily living skills.
• Provide a safe, clean, therapeutic environment; assist with restraints if needed (training provided).
