Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a House Coordinator to supervise staff, coordinate daily programming, and ensure youth receive consistent, structured care in a shelter setting. You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements while building positive, therapeutic relationships with youth.

The role entails direct care responsibilities, intake activities, and collaboration with the Program Director to align services with each youth’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in youth services.
• Knowledge of residential treatment programs for adolescents.
• Certified First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention as required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish may be required.
• Ability to travel locally and out of area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and ensure monthly documentation.
• Schedule staff and manage leave requests.
• Conduct intake services for initial placements.
• Provide direct care to youth ensuring proper ratios.
• Develop positive rapport with youth.
• Ensure forms and progress notes are completed.
• Coordinate educational events and activities.
• Assist with evacuation planning.
• Maintain a safe, clean facility.
• Distribute medications as prescribed.
• Attend required trainings.
