Job summary

Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a Treatment Specialist (Direct Care Specialist) to care for youth ages 6-18 on-site at the Wooster campus. You will supervise residents, assist in daily educational and therapeutic activities, and participate in recreation and field trips while modeling Christ-centered care.

Responsibilities include handling crisis situations with Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques, completing paperwork, and contributing to treatment plans and daily routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required by State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to statement of faith and conduct; treat residents with Christ-like attitude and model core values.
• Supervise residents individually and in groups; assist with daily educational and therapeutic activities.
• Provide care, de-escalation using SCM when needed, transport residents to appointments, and participate in treatment planning.
