Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a Treatment Specialist (Direct Care Specialist) to provide overnight care for youth ages 6-18 on our Wooster campus. You will supervise individuals and groups, facilitate educational and therapeutic activities, and support recreational and meal times while building positive relationships.

The Treatment Specialist (Direct Care Specialist) develops and models healthy connections and relationships with kids from hard places, ages 6-18. Treatment Specialists provide care and supervision to our youth residents individually and in groups. This could range from helping youth prepare for and engage in daily educational and therapeutic activities as well as offering guidance and redirection. It also includes participating in recreational fun, arts and crafts, meal times, and movie nights. It's also likely you'll answer a bazillion questions, receive hugs, and enjoy field trips to baseball games, trampoline parks, and more. Hours for this role: 10:30 p.m. - 8:30 a.m.
This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all of the following: background checks (fingerprints required), drug test, reference checks, Department of Justice National sex offender search, Ohio (and other states of residence) Alleged Perpetrator Search, as well as other checks as required by our licensing agency.
Candidates for most jobs must be 21 or older to apply. References, background checks, and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates. Direct care positions will require a pre-employment physical, as required by our licensing agency. Must be able to commute reliably for all on-site positions.
