Job summary

Family & Children’s Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Youth Care Coordinator to provide targeted support services and wraparound Systems of Care (SOC). SOC coordinates mental health and community services with the needs of children and families affected by trauma, aiming to prevent out-of-home placements.

The Youth Care Coordinators work with youth in their homes and communities, incorporating the entire family in treatment options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Social Science preferred.
• Minimum of one-year work with juveniles in the mental health field or related social service field.
• Specialized training and/or certification in mental health services or related field as may be required to provide adjunctive services (e.g., Juvenile Case Management Certification).

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support services and youth-centered Systems of Care (SOC).
• Coordinate mental health and community services with the needs of youth and families impacted by trauma; prevent out-of-home placements.
• Work with youth in their homes/communities while incorporating the entire family in treatment options.
