Position Summary: Wisconsin Community Services (WCS) seeks a Youth Care Coordinator for the Aspire Program. The role involves coordinating with youth, families, service providers, and schools to support youth in addressing their needs related to education, treatment, and employment.
Minimum: At least two years of social/human services or education experience and a Bachelor's degree (preferably in psychology, counseling, social work, education, or related fields). Familiarity with youth justice and CCS services is beneficial. Licensed professionals must meet state qualifications. Valid driver’s license and clean background are required.
Engage respectfully and compassionately with youth; adhere to agency codes and policies; demonstrate cultural sensitivity; possess knowledge of adolescent development, trauma, mental health, and substance use; be patient, professional, and able to handle crises; proficient in MS Word and Excel; capable of multi-tasking and working at multiple sites.
Work primarily in busy environments including community and school sites, with some home visits. Must be comfortable in fast-paced settings, able to respond to physical interventions if necessary, and capable of driving and riding with youth.
