Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a full-time Program Manager to lead the delivery of summer day camp and sports operations at the Coatesville location. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers, develop curricula, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with association standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience directing programs through supervision of volunteers and staff.
• Minimum of two years of work experience.
• YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and manages operating plans to promote YMCA programs.
• Executes strategies to connect members and program participants with the YMCA.
• Assist in developing and controlling department budgets.
• Hire, train, onboard and supervise part-time and full-time staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate communication and provide leadership to staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations and safety procedures.
• Provide data, rosters, schedules, and reports for assigned programs.
• Establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
