Job summary

HealthFitness, the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness program, seeks Youth Camp Counselors for our Bentonville facility. You will lead and support kids camps, mentor participants, and help run activities when schools are closed.

Qualifications include being at least 18, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and strong communication and leadership skills. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $16.48 per hour, with hours varying and summer work possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPR/AED and First Aid certification before start date.
• Proven ability to lead and engage youth in activities.
• Strong verbal communication with children and adults.
• Able to listen actively and respond appropriately.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Responsible and positive role model for participants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and engage youth through program activities.
• Monitor safety, enforce rules, and prevent accidents.
• Address inappropriate behavior and de-escalate when needed.
• Provide corrective guidance to promote positive actions.
• Collaborate with staff to plan and coordinate activities.
• Maintain facilities and equipment in good condition.
• Supervise children and manage check-in/check-out with parents.
• Foster sharing, sportsmanship and social skills.
