Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Fort Collins is seeking a Camp Counselor for a high-energy summer program focused on youth engagement and fitness. This on-site role offers opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication while guiding campers through fun activities.

Responsibilities include leading groups, building friendships, and ensuring safety and cleanliness, with daily updates to parents and the Program Director.

Qualifications

• Full-time seasonal position with variable schedule; weekdays and evenings required for the summer.
• Indoor and outdoor work; handling cleaning products as needed.
• Must be physically and mentally able to handle stress.
• Positive attitude and professional behavior in all interactions.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of campers through their camp experiences.
• Develop youth friendships to connect children to the camp community.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures, as well as safety logs.
• Daily written and verbal communication with Camp parents, team members, club members, and Program Director.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of campers' needs and communicate safety or behavior concerns.
