Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Camp Hyatt Attendant to provide a safe, engaging environment for children ages 3 to 12 in Camp Hyatt programs. You will plan activities, supervise indoor and outdoor sessions, and maintain a clean, secure facility while upholding great guest service.

You will promote a fun, respectful atmosphere, handle sign-in/sign-out procedures, and be physically capable of participating in activities and light setup duties.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in childcare, camp, recreation, education, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Must enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead engaging activities for children of various ages.
• Knowledge of child supervision practices and basic behavior management techniques.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain attendance records, inventories, and activity supplies.
• Ability to follow established sign-in/sign-out procedures and maintain a secure environment for children.
• Physically able to participate in recreational activities, supervise outdoor play, and perform light lifting, cleaning, and set-up duties.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak vacation periods as required.
• Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

• The Camp Hyatt Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children ages 3 to 12 participating in Camp Hyatt programs.
• Plans and leads age-appropriate activities for the children.
• Supervises children during indoor and outdoor programs.
• Maintains facility cleanliness and organization.
• Ensures compliance with all safety and security procedures.
• Delivers exceptional guest service to children and their families while promoting a fun, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere.
