Job summary

St. Louis Children’s and KVC Health Systems is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support youth in a compassionate behavioral health setting.

You will work under clinical supervision to implement evidence-based interventions, collect data, and help patients progress toward their treatment goals. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
• RBT certification required with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• At least 21 years of age; 1–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, inclusive care to youth and stakeholders.
• Support youth according to their treatment plan with supervision.
• Implement behavioral interventions under clinical supervision.
• Observe behavior, collect data, and document services accurately.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the Treatment Team.
• Follow protocols and report safety concerns promptly.
• Participate in supervision, competency assessments, and feedback.
