Job summary

The Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) in Massillon, OH seeks a Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 (two positions) to oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions and lead treatment teams for youth and families. Required licenses: LCDC II, LPC, LSW, MFT or RN with a mental health specialty.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, ethics and trauma-informed care. You will participate in trainings, court hearings and collaborative case management.

Qualifications

• Active professional licensure in Ohio per scope of practice.
• Background in behavioral health within juvenile or corrections settings preferred.
• Ability to lead treatment teams and coordinate care with partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility behavioral healthcare functions and lead treatment teams.
• Intervene with youth and families through counseling and education as appropriate.
• Maintain data and documentation for state and federal agencies.
• Collaborate with other facilities, agencies and court to coordinate referrals.
