Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Sterling, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with IDD/ASD in a 4-bed group home. You will coach independence, build relationships with residents and families, and support daily living in a caring environment.

Responsibilities include hygiene, meals, medication administration, paperwork, activities, and transportation support. A strong commitment to safety and compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MAPS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coach and assist with hygiene routines and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with transportation and outings.
• Administer medications and complete required paperwork.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and independence.
• Monitor safety and security of the home and community.
