Job summary

The Oregon Youth Authority is seeking a Behavioral Health Policy Manager 1 for MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn, OR. This leadership role oversees behavioral health services and clinical treatment programs for youth in OYA care, providing supervision to QMHPs and guiding program development.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral science.
• Current mental health license in good standing, or eligibility to be licensed in Oregon by hire date.
• 2+ years of clinical and administrative supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision for QMHPs within youth facilities.
• Consult and oversee specialized programming for acutely mentally ill youth or those needing specialized programming.
• Participate in facility Management Team and support policy, budget, and strategic planning.
• Review and integrate psychiatric/psychological recommendations into youth treatment plans.
• Coordinate inter-institutional transfers and involvement of facility clinicians in discharges.
