Job summary

The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) for the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn. The role focuses on delivering mental and behavioral health services to adjudicated youth in a group living milieu.

You will work with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and psychologists, applying evidence-based interventions while coordinating with the LUM and CC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with Oregon license or clinical equivalent.
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, recreational/art/music therapy, or behavioral health science with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health services to youth in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Lead and participate in group living interventions under supervision of Living Unit Manager and Case Coordinator.
