Youth Opportunity is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager at the Lebanon Youth Academy in Lebanon, TN. The role supports daily operations of a residential behavioral health environment, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional facility for youth and staff, with a strong focus on safety, inspections, and coordinated maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage building services including maintenance, groundskeeping, parking areas, and facility safety.
• Conduct regular building inspections and take proactive steps to ensure a safe, efficient, and presentable environment.
• Oversee safety and security measures, including fire, burglary, and facility closures.
• Monitor and maintain close circuit security systems and access card operations.
• Support program managers by identifying and coordinating maintenance projects and repairs.
• Track and maintain facility fire and health inspections and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
• Direct contractor activities related to facility maintenance, equipment, and grounds.
• Maintain a high standard of role model behavior for youth.
• Participate in training and development activities as required.
• Report any acts, incidents, or conditions reflecting inappropriate behavior.
• Report any use of physical force and all unusual incidents per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
