Job summary

ChildNet Youth and Family Services is recruiting for a Client Support Services Counselor (CSSC) for the Inland Empire Behavioral Health Services program in Riverside, CA. The role delivers regular support to high‑risk youth and families, coordinating services with the treatment team in community and placement settings.

Requirements include a social science degree with experience with emotionally disturbed children OR an associate’s with related experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide services to children and adolescents under supervision, often one‑to‑one.
• Meet with clients regularly to practice new skills in home and community settings.
• Meet service level requirements as per client treatment plan.
• Maintain availability for crisis intervention 24/7.
• Attend CFT, IEP, and other client-related meetings as part of the treatment team.
• Complete assessments, reports and paperwork for county placing agencies.
