Job summary

Youth Consultation Service (YCS) in New Jersey seeks a Case Manager to help youth and families access mental health and related services in a timely, efficient manner under supervision of a licensed social worker.

You will participate in assessment and treatment, compile psychosocial histories, and provide referrals and linkage to services, while representing clients at screenings, placements and court appearances when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years relevant experience or Master's with 1 year related experience.
• Ability to assist youth and families in accessing services.
• Must be willing to travel between Orange and Edison locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist youth and families in identifying, accessing and receiving mental health and other services in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
• Participate in assessment, evaluation and treatment under supervision of a licensed social worker.
• Compile psychosocial history.
• Provide referral and linkage to ancillary or specialized treatment services and interventions.
• Represent clients on screening, placement, court appearances and other issues.
