Job summary

Pathways is seeking a Child & Adolescent Behavior Specialist to work with youth and families, developing recovery plans focused on strengths and needs. Responsibilities include coordinating IRPs, crisis plan development, and delivering targeted interventions to promote resilience and age-appropriate functioning in daily life.

Applicants should have a related bachelor's degree and strong communication skills, with a Georgia driver’s license and clean background check.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written) and cultural sensitivity.
  • Valid Georgia driver’s license and clean MVR.
  • Clean criminal background check required (no abuse, neglect, or exploitation).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IRP development with youth and family, including goal articulation.
  • Plan to manage or prevent crisis situations for youth and family.
  • Provide individualized interventions to build resilience and skills for school, peers, and family.
  • Develop interpersonal, community coping, and functional skills for home, school, and social environments.
  • Assist in linking youth/family to rehabilitative, medical, social, and other services.
  • Monitor youth progress and adjust strategies to meet needs.
